One of the last thematic workshops was held in a hybrid format in Budapest, Hungary from the 4th to the 5th of July by Országos Kórházi Főigazgatóság (OKFÖ) in close collaboration with the original Good Practice; Catalan Center for Open Innovation on ICT-supported integrated care services for chronic patients (Institut d’Investigacions Biomèdiques August Pi i Sunyer – IDIBAPS).
The workshop’s topic was VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL INTEGRATION: DIABETES-MORBIDITY which deals with the setting of the use of integrated care and routine health data, as well as the possibilities of evaluating the effectiveness of chronic care pathways. Approx. 12 people were attending in person, 17 online.
- On the first day, the objectives of the workshop and the planned achievements were discussed and followed by the Next Adopters presenting their Local Action Plan. Then the workshop had an oGP Expert and round table session where Next Adopters elaborated implementation experiences on bottlenecks, barriers, facilitators, challenges, and learnings.
- On the second day was a working session on the key aspects of the Thematic workshop and a sustainabililty session. The event closed with a wrap-up session where the participants discussed the conclusions of the thematic workshop and an overview of the next steps in JADECARE.
